I2C LCD Adapter Module একটি ছোট কিন্তু অত্যন্ত কার্যকর interface board, যা সাধারণ 16x2 (1602) এবং 20x4 (2004) Character LCD-কে I2C communication-এর মাধ্যমে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করার সুবিধা দেয়। এই module-এ ব্যবহৃত PCF8574 I/O Expander IC মাইক্রোকন্ট্রোলারের একাধিক GPIO pin ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজনীয়তা কমিয়ে মাত্র দুটি I2C pin (SDA & SCL) ব্যবহার করে LCD পরিচালনা করতে সক্ষম।
Module-টিতে একটি adjustable contrast potentiometer রয়েছে, যার মাধ্যমে LCD display-এর contrast সহজেই নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা যায়। এছাড়া backlight control support থাকায় display আরও সুবিধাজনকভাবে ব্যবহার করা যায়।
