Infrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module হলো একটি জনপ্রিয় infrared proximity detection sensor, যা কোনো বস্তুর উপস্থিতি বা বাধা (Obstacle) দ্রুত শনাক্ত করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি Infrared (IR) Transmitter এবং IR Receiver ব্যবহার করে প্রতিফলিত (Reflected) IR light শনাক্ত করে digital signal প্রদান করে।
Module-টিতে একটি onboard potentiometer রয়েছে, যার মাধ্যমে detection distance সহজেই সমন্বয় করা যায়। Built-in status LED detection-এর অবস্থা নির্দেশ করে, ফলে testing ও debugging সহজ হয়।
